Hi! I'm Vivienne, a 14-year-old hermit crab enthusiast from Switzerland. I've been keeping hermit crabs for over 2 years, and I currently care for 8 amazing crabs — each with their own personality, quirks, and favorite snacks.
I built VivaShell because when I first started keeping hermit crabs, I struggled to find good information. Most care guides were outdated, hard to read, or buried in old forum threads. I wanted to create a modern, fun, and beautiful resource that makes hermit crab care accessible to everyone — especially young keepers like me.
VivaShell is powered by real experience (mine!), accurate research, and an AI assistant named Vivi who can answer any crab care question instantly. I hope it helps you give your crabbies the best life possible!
