Welcome to VivaShell! These terms govern your use of vivashell.com and all related services. By using VivaShell, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's okay — but please don't use the site.

We've tried to keep these simple and readable. If anything is unclear, just email us!

Using VivaShell

VivaShell is a hermit crab care resource and community platform. You can:

• Read care guides and species information
• Use Ask Vivi, our AI chat assistant
• Sign the guestbook and participate in the community
• Create an account to access additional features

Please use VivaShell responsibly. Don't do anything illegal, harmful, or disruptive.

Your Account

When you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details safe. Use a strong password and don't share your account with others. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or have parental permission.

Content Guidelines

When posting on VivaShell (guestbook, community, etc.):

• Be kind, respectful, and supportive of other crab keepers
• Don't post harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Never promote painted shells or unsafe crab care practices
• Don't spam or post misleading information

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

Premium Services

VivaShell offers optional premium memberships with additional features. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — just reach out and we'll work something out.

Intellectual Property

All content on VivaShell (text, images, design, code) is owned by VivaShell and protected by copyright. You're welcome to share our care guides with proper attribution, but don't copy or reproduce our content for commercial purposes.

Disclaimer

VivaShell provides educational information about hermit crab care. Our content, including Ask Vivi's responses, is based on research and personal experience but is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. If your crab appears seriously ill, please consult an exotic animal veterinarian.

Limitation of Liability

VivaShell is provided "as is." We do our best to ensure everything works well and the information is accurate, but we can't guarantee it will be perfect. We're not liable for any issues that arise from using our site or following our care advice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of VivaShell after changes means you accept the new terms.
